Style tip 6 - foundation garments

You need to ensure you have the right foundation garments, such as bras, underwear, and shape wear. Under wire must sit flat and not dig into your skin in any way. Not only does a properly-fitting bra give you a more flattering silhouette and comfort, it can alleviate strain on your back and shoulders. A well fitting bra makes your clothing fit much better while boosting your self-confidence.

The cup size and the band size are most important in choosing the right fit. The cup size is matched with letters while the band size with numbers. For example, 36B, 38C, 40D etc

1.  Measure Cup Size: Measure around your back, across the fullest part of your breast. Make sure the measuring tape is horizontal but not too tight

2.  Measure Band Size: Measure around your rib cage, just under the bust. Make sure you pull the measuring tape tight and horizontally around your body.

Chain headbands

A simple headband is no longer enough! I am a total sucker for this trend and I'm not sure if that's a good thing.  Am I crazy or are they kind of awesome? Sure, they may be a tad on the impractical side but they're just so princess-y.

They are in fact one of the easiest pieces to wear.  These amazing accessories allow you to glam up your hairstyles without complicated tools and so much hair product, all you need is to part your hair straight down the middle and you’re sorted! They go well with both straight or curly hair types.  Perfect for festivals!

Often wrapped across and around your head, this accessory is part-hair, part-jewellery, part-hat – all at once. Some people opt for the boho style, while others choose ones with gems or a comb for a dressed-up version.

You can tastefully incorporate metal chain into your style and especially because it lends itself to DIY: If you don't want to go out and buy something similar, you can take silver necklaces and pin them in place.

What do you think of this new trend? Would you rock the chains or not?  Are these ridiculous? Could you ever wear them in public? Would you ever even want to wear one in public? Leave a comment with your thoughts!

How to Wear Pencil Skirts

pencil skirt is quite versatile - and with the right accessories and styling, you can easily transform it from a plain librarian look into something more chic and fun.  They are everywhere you turn, in every fabric, colour and print.  They’re a classic piece that will never go out of style, can be worked for any occasion.  No matter if you are young or old, you’ll always feel good and comfortable wearing pencil skirts.

They are extremely flattering for most body shapes and It allows women to exude sexiness in a subtle wayPair with heels, which will elongate the legs and create a slimmer silhouette.

Pencil skirts are made to hug curves and craft a statement. From work to evening, their versatility establishes them as a wardrobe staple. Every woman’s closet should have one.

Two important details that you must pay attention to when it comes to a pencil skirt is the length and the fit. A pencil skirt is usually most flattering when the hem ends around the knees. It can be slightly above or below but usually not any shorter. You can also play with patterned pencil skirts or try master the colour blocking trendThe skirt should also be fitted around the waist and hips but not too tight.
If the waistband is a bit too snug and difficult to sit then it’s too tight. You know a piece is too tight when you start to see horizontal lines form across the hips. Fit is critical for work as you want to be comfortable – so make sure the length and fit are perfect so you feel stylish and confident. You shouldn’t have to fuss with your clothes at the office because what you need to be focusing on is the work in front of you.

If you wear a high waist skirt or a skirt with a thicker waistband then a blouse would look best tucked in.
Personally, I always wear my shirts tucked in when wearing a pencil skirt. There are many positives to wearing your shirt tucked in: it creates a slimmer waist, makes the look more sophisticated, which is especially appropriate for the office, and for the petite gals it creates the illusion of longer legs.
It fits any time, age and fashion.

How to Wear Printed Pants!

Printed pants are making a huge splash in the fashion world, their bright colours and wild patterns are eye-catching. They are a great way to spice up your wardrobe and are anything but boring! Cropped, harem, flowing, and fitted styles are making a stylish appearance.  When you're shopping for a pair of printed pants, look for bright, colourful shapes, stripes, and geometric patterns.

If you are going to try print pants, keep the rest of the look toned down by using a plain colour blouse or shirt with them. Otherwise it can turn into a fashion catastrophe.

Even though printed pants are pretty much an accessory on their own, it doesn’t hurt to add a thin belt or a pair of statement earrings into the mix.  choose low-key ones that are mainly there just to add flair, simple accessories are always the best choice.

Another great thing is that you can combine these trousers with your work tops and wear it to the office.  Personally, I love combining them with my everyday clothes, it's so much fun!   Every single combination is great to be styled with plain top in bright or dark colour.

The first step to finding the perfect printed pant is choosing the right cut for your body shape. A bootleg or flared style flatters pear shapes, while a cropped, slim-fitting silhouette is ideal for petite figures. Keep in mind that a slightly high waist will give the impression of longer legs no matter what size or shape you are.

There are so many options when it comes to choosing the print that’s right for you, so make sure to try on different looks until you find one that is right for you.  Anyway, let's get inspired:

Eco Friendly Fashion

The trend towards designing, manufacturing and purchasing green fashion is increasing with each year. Eco-friendly fashion is a hot trend. And you don't have to sacrifice style or pay an arm and a leg to get eco-friendly trendy clothes.  organic clothing never goes out of style and It's becoming available in more clothing stores every season, making it easier to find for most people. Eco friendly fashion does not just mean recycled clothing. New clothes are definitely okay, but being green about it means that we have to be aware about how they were made and engage in fair trade and make sure that their workers are working under humane and favorable conditions.

Eco friendly clothing should be made with a high percentage of organic materials or reusing fabric, such as cotton grown without pesticides and silk made by worms fed on organic trees, fabrics that don't involve the use of harmful chemicals and bleaches to colour fabric. And most importantly, eco-friendly clothes are made to last, so that people can keep them for longer.
